Mary Jane "Janie" Brucker, age 73 of Reedsburg, WI formerly of Cropsey, IL passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Brucker was born on August 21, 1940 in Streator, IL the daughter of Henry and Mary (Schmillen) Kelm. She married Harley Brucker on August 16, 1962. He survives in Reedsburg, WI.

Other survivors include three children; Krystal (Jeffrey) Schara , North Freedom, WI, Douglas (Bethany) Brucker, Cropsey, IL, Edward (Leanne) Brucker of Forrest, IL, eight grandchildren: Joshua (Annie) Schara, Jordyn Schara, Erin (Jake) Terven, Lane Brucker, Cassidy Brucker, Rhett Brucker, Austin Brucker and Bayli Brucker, two great grandchildren, two brothers, James (Pat) Kelm, Elkhart, IN, Mike (Linda) Kelm of Streator, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Brucker graduated from Woodland High School in 1958. She then went to Liberty Beauty School in Peoria, IL. Jane worked as a beautician at the Pink Poodle in Fairbury, IL and later managed the beauty salon at Fairview Haven Retirement Community in Fairbury for 20 years. Upon retiring, she and her husband moved to Reedsburg, WI.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, WI. A local visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 26, 2014 and 9:00 to 9:45 am Thursday both at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, IL. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 am with Fr. Scott Archer officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, IL.

The family suggest memorials be given to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury or to the charity of the donor's choice.
