Janet C. Gutherz-Howick, 55, Bloomington and formerly of Colfax, died at 7:25 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Inurnment will be in Minonk Twp. Cemetery, Minonk at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be given to the McLean County Humane Society.

Janet was born November 17, 1961 in Peoria, IL the daughter of David Samuel and Judith Ringe Gutherz. She married Christopher Howick on October 7, 2007 in Hudson, IL. He survives in Bloomington.

Also surviving is her brother, Jeff Gutherz, Champaign.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Janet was a 1980 graduate of Octavia High School, Colfax and had attended Illinois Community College. She was a self-employed graphic artist.
