Janet Ann Honegger, 86, Chatsworth, died at 7:45 am Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City.

Graveside inurnment will take place in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements.

Mrs. Honegger was born September 29, 1930 in Forrest the daughter of Harold "Dutch" and Anna Mae Ehnen Weihermiller. She married Albert E. Honegger on June 19, 1948 in Charlotte. He died on July 13, 1999.

Surviving are her children, Cheryl (Jim) Culkin, Houston, TX; Rob (Barb) Honegger, Louisville, KY; David Honegger, Chicago; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one brother, Keith Weihermiller.

Mrs. Honegger was a graduate of Forrest Twp. High School. She was a bookkeeper at Greenbrier Nursing Home, Piper City and the town clerk in Chatsworth for many years.
