Janet was a woman who was fiercely devoted to Jesus, her husband, and her family. Janet was born on October 28, 1932 to Debold and Lottie Householder. She grew up in her beloved small town of Fairbury, Illinois with her parents and three siblings, Raymond, Florence, and Irene. Jan met and then married her soulmate, Ronald "Woody" Woodall, on June 14, 1953. The two spent 62 years together, growing in their Faith, travelling the globe, and raising three children: Becky, David, and Greg.

Jan received her degree in English from Illinois State University in 1954. Jan told the story of hearing her 4-year-old son recite 1 John 4:12 at the lunch table, and realizing that children were able to memorize scripture. This sparked her and Woody's work with the AWANA Clubs for many years, where children learn God's word and hide it in their hearts. Jan was deeply in love with her Savior, as well as her husband, who preceded her death in 2015.

Jan loved the sun, gardening, baking, and trips to the beach with her family. She enjoyed a bowl of ice cream every night, but was still able to fit into her wedding dress after 60 years!  She is preceded in death by her parents, Debold and Lottie, her sisters, Florence and Irene, and her husband, "Woody." Jan is survived by a large and loving clan: her brother, Raymond, and nieces and nephews; her children, Becky, David, Greg, and their spouses; her grandchildren, Kristina, Karissa, Rachel, Benjamin, Nicole, Taylor, Becca, and Nathan; and her great-grandchildren: Amaya, Nivea, and Holland. All of her family and friends miss her dearly, but find much comfort knowing that she is safe in the arms of Jesus and with her husband (and soulmate) once again.
