Janice Marillyn Broquard, 98 of Fairbury, passed away at 11:30pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Good Samaritan Home of Pontiac.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family service has been held.  Memorials may be directed to SELCAS in Fairbury or Good Samaritan Home of Pontiac.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is assisting with arrangements.

Janice was born September 13, 1921 in Arcola, IN, the only child of Merle and Clara Kueffner Daniels.  She married Joseph D. Broquard on October 10, 1945 in Peoria, IL.  He preceded her in death on July 5, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Marillyn (Walter) Moore of Fairbury; a son, Charles Jerome Broquard of Los Angeles, CA; a granddaughter, Sheree (Brad) Clow of Leroy, IL; a grandson, Trevor (BreAnne) Moore of Mesa, AZ and six great-grandchildren.

Janice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairbury.  She enjoyed traveling and spent the winters in Phoenix with friends for 19 years.  She will long be remembered as a loving "people person."

The family wants to thank her wonderful caregivers for their excellent care over the years, so she could stay in her home until her 97 ^th birthday.
