Jason David Mowery, 44, Heyworth and formerly of Fairbury, died at 5:38 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at his residence, Heyworth.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm followed by a prayer service on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests that you please donate to the South East Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS).

Jason was born September 12, 1975 in Fairbury the son of David Jon Mowery and Phyllis Krominga.

Survivors include his mother, Phyllis (Terry) Rathbun, Tucson, AZ, two sons, Dillon Mowery and Lyric Mowery, both of Fairbury, one daughter, Destyni Mowery, San Antonio, TX, two sisters, Angela Schroeder, Lexington, Sasha Hack, Fairbury, one brother, Jacob Rathbun, Puyallup, WA, many aunts, uncles, including Wally Mowery and Lori Evans, several cousins, four nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Jason was a graduate of Prairie Central High School, Fairbury.  He was employed as a prison guard, Joliet, a surveyor in central Illinois, worked for Kroger Foods in their warehouse and was a lifetime Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan.
