Colfax – Jean Lain, 91, of Colfax, passed away at 10:40pm, November 2, 2016 at Aperion Care Center of Colfax.

Cremation has been accorded.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2016. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Inurnment will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.

Friends may greet the family from 1-2:00pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 also at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Jean was born May 7, 1925 in Union Grove, WI the daughter of Fred and Ada Christenson Jensen. She married Eldon Lain on November 13, 1945 in Madison, WI. He passed away October 21, 1991.

Surviving are her daughter, Chella (Alan) Yeakel of Colfax; son John Lain of Bethany; daughter-in-law, Cathy Lain of Normal grandchildren, John (Noelle) Yeakel, Aaron (Amanda) Yeakel, Katrina Lain and Belinda (Mike) Killian; sister, Marion William of OR; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

Jean retired after 30 years at General Electric as an inspector.

She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
