Obituary
Fairbury -Jeanette Patricia Kokotek, 78 of St. Petersburg FL; formerly of Fairbury; left this world December 2, 2012 to live in eternal peace with her soul mate and husband who passed away in 2008.
Graveside service will be 11am, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 am Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. A funeral mass was held in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 7, 2012.
Jeanette was born March 17, 1934, a daughter to Stanley and Sophie Mazur in Chicago. During her first year of nurse's training she met the love of her life, Dr. Norbert Kokotek. They married on Valentine's Day 1953.
The couple lovingly raised eight children in Skokie, IL and later moved to Fairbury. They retired in 1980 to enjoy the sunshine of Florida.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter and caregiver Mary Kokotek of St. Petersburg; sons Kenneth (Jessica) Kokotek of St Petersburg and Michael (Sandi) Kokotek of Washington, IL; daughters Rosanne Hartman, Susan Kokotek, Antoinette Kokotek-Cole all of St. Petersburg; and two additional daughters. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
