Jeffrey L. Myers, 59 of Fairbury, died at 4:38pm, Friday, February 14, 2020 at his residence, Fairbury.

Funeral will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Ann Champion officiating.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 also at the memorial home.  Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Prairie Central Sports Boosters or a charity of the donor's choice.

Jeff was born May 12, 1960 in Fairbury, a son of George S. and JoAnne E. Thompson Myers.  They preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sister, Georgia (Clark) Wilkinson of Camargo; his brother, Greg (Sue) Myers of Fairbury; one niece, Amber (Tony) Stenger of Groveland; four nephews, Derek (Annie) Wilkinson of Naperville, Nathan (Kristy) Myers of Terre Haute, IN, Jason (Jen) Myers of Cary and Ryan (Tiffany) Myers of Fairbury and seven great-nephews and one great-niece.

Jeff graduated from Fairbury-Cropsey High School, Class of 1978 and obtained his Associate's Degree from Joliet Junior College in 1980.  He worked for Myers Crop Services, Fairbury for five years as a Fertilizer Applicator, and worked on the family farm, subsequently.  In 1995, he began work as a Fork-Lift Operator for Selig Sealing Products, Forrest and was employed there for 20 years.  He later worked part-time for Brandt Consolidated, Fairbury as a Fertilizer Transport Operator.  He also had been helping his brother with farming.

Jeff was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury.  He enjoyed sprint and NASCAR races, a variety of sports and spending time with family and friends.
