Obituary
Jeremy Lee Geriets, 28, Cropsey died at 5:40am Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Cropsey, IL.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Paulette Cott officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family C/O Busey Bank in Fairbury.
Jeremy was born May 26, 1981 in Lincoln, IL, the son of Jody E. and Beverly J. Benedict Geriets. He married Desiree Goff on May 24, 2008 in Cropsey, IL. She survives in Cropsey.
Also surviving are three children, Caleb, Camden and Cayden all at home; his parents, Jody and Beverly Geriets, Forrest; Paternal Grandparents, Herman and Alice Geriets, Lincoln; maternal grandparents, Dorothy Mathis and Raymond Benedict, both of Lincoln; two brothers, Joshua Geriets, Lincoln and Derek Geriets, Forrest, IL.
Jeremy had been employed at Slagel Manufacturing in Strawn, IL.
He was a great husband and dad who was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Bulls fan. Jeremy loved playing golf with his dad.
