Obituary
Jesse Richard Huber, 84, Fairbury died at 11:35 pm Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Thursday at the church.
Jesse was born October 30, 1926 in Fairbury, IL the son of Daniel Henry and Tillie Myrtle Roth Huber. He married Donna Joanne Kuntz on January 30, 1954 in Fairbury, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons; Richard (Dawn) Huber and Keith (Susan) Huber, both of Fairbury, two daughters; Christa (Verle) Sauder, Hancock, MN, Ann (Keven) Hofstetter, Washington, IL; nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two sisters; Irene Hoffman, North Richland Hills, TX and Nola Wilson, Fairbury.
He is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Jesse was a 1944 graduate of Fairbury Twp. High School. He served in the United States Army from February 28, 1946 until being discharged on August 5, 1947. He was employed as an electrician/plumber by Maurer and Roth Inc. (1948-1972) and later owned and operated J.R. Electric, Fairbury (1972-1993). He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury or OSF Hospice, Pontiac.
