Chenoa - John David Boles , 57 of Chenoa, died at 6:50 pm, Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence in Chenoa.

Cremation rites have been accorded with services to be held at a later date.   Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of John D. Boles.

John was born August 4, 1966 in Fairbury; the son of Gerald W. and Margaret Bernice (Schopp) Boles.

He married Tracy Tomberlin on October 31, 2018 in Chenoa. She preceded him in death on April 22, 2023. His parents, three brothers, Timothy, Steven, Patrick Boles and one sister, Mary Alice Boles also preceded him in death.

Survivors include one brother, Thomas (Genevieve) Boles of Deland, FL; his two cats, referred to as "The Boys", Harley and Wylie; as well as extended family and numerous friends.

John served our country in the US Army in the Special Forces unit as a Green Beret during Desert Storm; and US Navy Reserve, the last four years of his service.
