Obituary
John Michael Casey, 84, Fairbury, died at 6:50 am Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at his residence, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Fr. Scott Archer officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 am Wednesday also at the memorial home. The family suggests memorials be given to the Livingston County Humane Society or to OSF Hospice.
Mr. Casey was born September 6, 1931 in Buffalo, NY the son of Paul and Marion Fergen Casey. He married Kay Huddleson Craddock on July 14, 1990. She survives in Fairbury.
Other survivors include his children, John Casey Jr., NC, Karen Baker, Painesville, OH, Mary Womble, SC, David Casey, Ravina, OH, Chris Casey, Painesville, OH, stepchildren, Brenda Heavner, Pittsfield, IL, Michael Craddock, Fairbury, Trish Kinkade, Bloomington, Cindy Cotton, Normal, Dave Taylor, Fairbury, Renee Wenger, Strawn, Aimee Marma, Braidwood, Charisse Feeley, CO, Lynette Taylor, CA, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and one brother, Joe Casey.
He is preceded in death by two brothers and one son, Jim Casey.
Mr. Casey was a talented woodworker and had worked for A & P Tea Co., Addressograph, Tow motor and then Caterpiller Inc., Pontiac until his retirement in 1993.
