Charleston – John Allan Gray, 71, of Charleston formerly of Colfax, passed away at 7:59am, November 25, 2016, at his residence in Charleston.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

John was born February 18, 1945 in Bloomington, the son of Kenneth Lorin and Garnet Josephine Hasty Gray. They preceded him in death.

Also surviving are his children, Kenneth (Ellen) Gray of Homer Glen, Kimberly Meyers of Lockport, and Kristina (Mark) Paquin of Orange, CA; grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha, Ryan, Heather, and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Daniel Jr, Derek, Grace, and Noah.

John was raised in Colfax and attended Octavia High School. He also attended college at Bradley and Kansas State Universities.

John passed away 66 years to the day of his father's death.
