John "Big John" Stimpert's Obituary
John "Big John" Stimpert , 57 of Anchor passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Advocate Bromen Medical Center in Normal, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial- luncheon gathering will be held at the Cropsey Sportsman's Club, Main St., Cropsey from 1-4pm on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is assisting the family with arrangements.
John was born January 26, 1956 a son to Jack and Virginia ( Prescher) Stimpert. His parents and two infant brothers preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sister, Sally (George) Tatroe of Joliet IL; his uncle, Bob Stimpert of Flanagan IL; two aunts, Jean Prescher and Patricia Gould both of Bloomington; and numerous cousins and friends.
John graduated from Octavia High School, Colfax in 1974.
