Anchor – John Molck, 64, of Anchor, passed at 7:16pm, September 5, 2024, in Georgetown, SC.
Friends may greet the family from 2-4pm, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. A celebration of life will be following the visitation at the Davis-Kerber American Legion, Colfax.
Memorials may be made to the Anchor Park or Habitat for Humanity, Bloomington.
John was born July 31, 1960, in Bloomington, the son of Eugene Andrew and Lois Rethmann Molck.
Surviving are his children, Katie (Harley) Daniel of Carlock, Sara Molck of Normal, and Max Molck of Colfax; grandchildren, Joanie and Marnie Daniel, Destinee, Dominique, DeMarrion Murphy and TreSean and TaNiah Johnson; siblings, Michael (Cheryl) Molck of Anchor, Sheryl (Bob) Steele of Sherrard, Jane Dameron of Colfax, and Joyce (Sam) Carmack of Anchor; mother of his children, Karen McNeely of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Brian Dameron.
John owned and operated John Molck Carpentry for over 40 years.
John enjoyed traveling and driving his pickup truck across the country. He found his greatest enjoyment in watching his kids and grandkids play sports and late-night phone calls with his nephew Jim.
John never met a stranger. He will be missed by his family and his many friends.
