Obituary
Jonathan D. Zimmerman, 22, of Fairbury died at 11:59 am Thursday, June 5, 2008 at his residence, Fairbury after a 13 month battle with brain cancer.
His funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the North Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Forrest. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 12:00 to 12:45 pm Sunday at the church.
Jonathan was born April 27, 1986 in Pontiac, IL the son of Paul and Loretta Huette Zimmerman. They survive in Fairbury
Also surviving are four brothers, Ben (Melissa) Zimmerman, Forrest, Stephen (Kaci) Zimmerman, Fairbury, David and Joel Zimmerman, at home, paternal grandparents, Perry and Dorothy Zimmerman, Forrest, maternal step grandmother, Helen Huette, Houston, TX, six nieces and nephews, Rebekah, Leah, Caleb, Brooke, Cole, and Addison who Jonathan enjoyed and loved spending time with.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
The family suggests memorials be given to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Peoria.
