Joseph R. Merideth , 51, of Chenoa passed away at 8:30 am, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his residence in Chenoa.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, November 12, 2021 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Burial with military honors will follow the service in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be 11 to 1:45pm, Friday, November 12, 2021 also at the funeral home in Chenoa, prior to his funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Joseph R. Merideth.
Joe was born on October 5, 1970 in Louisville, KY; a son to Carl and Beverley (Alwood) Merideth. He married Cindy Smith on August 24, 1996 in Disney World, Orlando, FL. His wife, Cindy survives in Chenoa.
Also surviving are his children, Michael (Shelby) Merideth, Fairbury; Skylar (Julie) Merideth of Bloomington; grandson, Kion Merideth; granddaughter, Addy Paris-Smith; his father, Carl (Lou) Merideth of Chatsworth; mother in-law, Donita Brucker of Cropsey; one sister, Tammy Wilhoite, two brothers, Jeff (Regina) Dronenberg and Derek (Sarah) Merideth.
He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one sister.
Joe was a 1989 graduate of Prairie Central High School, Fairbury. He served our nation in the Army National Guard from 1987 - 1992.
