Joyce E. Price, 76, Piper City and formerly of Forrest, died at 7:10 am Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Piper City Rehabilitation and Living Center, Piper City.

Mrs. Price was born September 14, 1940 in Forrest, IL the daughter of Granger Guy and Lena Elaine Birch Davis.

Surviving are 3 sons, Donald (Pam) Price, Fairbury, Will (Charisse) Price, Chatsworth, Michael Davis, Mahomet, 1 daughter, Susan McLemore, Pontiac, 2 brothers, Dave (Sylvia) Davis, Washington, John (Carol Wade) Davis, Chenoa, 3 sisters, Fern Lawber, Pittsfield, Linda Haskins, Onarga, Pam (Darrell) Brickman, Chenoa, 1 sister-in-law, Vicki Davis, Valparaiso, IN, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mrs. Price had worked as a cook at Westgate Supper Club, Fairbury for many years.

Graveside inurnment will take place in Forrest Twp. Cemetery, Forrest at a later date. The family suggests memorials be given to the Joyce Price memorial fund, c/o Donald Price, 501 N. Stanley Dr, Fairbury, IL 61739.   Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
