Obituary
Colfax – Juanita Rischar, 74, of Colfax passed away September 15, 2008 at 7:10 a.m. at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax with the recitation of the rosary at 4:30 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Colfax with Fr. Carl LoPresti officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Quincy.
Juanita was born June 2, 1934 in Quincy the daughter of John H. and Alvena Ohnemus Dieker. They preceded her in death.
She married Leroy Rischar on September 24, 1960 in Quincy. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Tina (Kevin) Doroh of Elkhart, IN, Lisa Rischar of Crestwood, Michael Rischar of Friendswood, TX, and Connie (Daniel) Paulikas of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Alissa and Kyle Doroh; one brother J. William (Norma) Dieker of Champaign.
Juanita was preceded in death by one brother Floyd Dieker and one infant sister.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Colfax, Ladies Auxiliary of the Colfax American Legion and Past President of NTO.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or American Cancer Society.
