Judith Kay Harper, 64, of Colfax passed away November 18, 2008 at 3:45 a.m. at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Colfax.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Funeral will be on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Dan Jassman will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Immediately following the burial there will be a luncheon at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Fairbury.

Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest, the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, Forrest, Heritage Manor in Colfax or Colfax Christian Church.

Judith was born July 29, 1944 in Bloomington the daughter of Carl and Georgia Stevens Dunn. They preceded her in death. She married Orville Harper on March 26, 1977. He died May 24, 1994.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Huxtable and Debbie Bachtold both of Fairbury; one brother Bill (Carolyn) Dunn of Fairbury; one sister Sheryl (Tim) Warmouth of Champaign; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Judith was preceded in death by one son and two grandchildren.

She retired as a CNA from the Fairbury Hospital after 25 years.
She is a member of the Colfax Christian Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Fairbury.
