Julie Marie Starcher, 50, Fairbury died at 6:42 am Sunday, January 30, 2011 at her residence in Fairbury.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury with Pastor Tom Krieger officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday also at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. Inurnment will take place at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Strawn at a later date.

Julie was born January 7, 1961 in Fairbury the daughter of Gerald R. and Elaine Stiver Kuntz.

Surviving is her mother, Elaine Kuntz; one daughter, Bobbi Brandt; three sons, Jason Maurer, Jonathan and Matthew Stepro; three grandchildren, Kynlee Grace Brandt, Gage Robert and Skylar Ryan Maurer, all of Fairbury; one brother, Rick (Luann) Kuntz, Normal, IL; one sister, Beth (Kevin) Russell, Fairbury and a longtime best friend, Barb Cook, Fairbury.

She is preceded in death by her father and one sister, Susan Duerr.

Julie was a homemaker and a member of the Fairbury VFW auxiliary.

An educational memorial fund has been established to assist her two youngest children.
