June Elizabeth Nichols , 96, of Chenoa, passed away at 4:56pm, July 5, 2023, at Accolade Healthcare, Pontiac.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 pm, Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.  At the conclusion of visitation there will be a graveside service at 2:00pm, Sunday afternoon in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of June Elizabeth Nichols. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.

June was born July 23, 1926, in Altoona, PN; the daughter of Frank and Mary (Speacht) Hidebrandt.  She married Thomas Nichols on December 17, 1947.  He passed away on March 17, 1999.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Portier of Wilmer, AL; grandchildren, Nicholas J. Portier of Mobile, AL and Corinthia E. Spencer of Theodore, AL; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Kade Spencer and William Rhett Spencer both of Theodore, AL; and one brother, Howard Hildebrandt of New Haven, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Frank, Lester, and Richard Hildebrandt.
