June E. Watt, 61, Fairbury, died at 6:58pm Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her residence in Fairbury.
Her funeral will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Ann Champion officiating. Burial will be in Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday and 9:00 to 9:45 am Tuesday also at the memorial home. The family suggests memorials be given to the First United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
June was born March 16, 1956 in Fairbury the daughter of Merle "Dude" and Elenore Haab Ricketts.
Survivors include her mother, Elenore Ricketts, Fairbury; son, Jason (Marcia Cook) Hoffman, Lincoln; 2 daughters, Abby (Wayne) Maurer, Forrest; Mica (Stephen) Young, Sibley; brother, Edward Ricketts, sister, Caryl (Jerry) Hoffman, both of Fairbury; sister-in-law, Brenda Ricketts, Watseka; brother-in-law, Keith Chambers, Forrest; 6 grandchildren, Mercedes, Gage and Skylar Maurer, Keiragan, Carson and Tate Young; 2 great grandchildren, Lacey & Luke Payton; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
She is preceded by her father, Merle, 2 brothers, Daryl and Gary; 1 sister, Tammy Chambers, 1 sister-in-law, Kristy Ricketts, and 1 great granddaughter, Reagan Payton.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury.
