Cornell: Junior Dean "Dean" Robinson, 57, of Cornell, died Saturday June 24, 2006.
10:47 P.M. at his home in Cornell.
Dean was born September 11, 1948 in Mini Islands, Arkansas to Jack and Mary (Hurst) Robinson. He married Christine Wiles, January 15, 1994 in Pontiac, IL.
She survives in Cornell.
Surviving are his parents, Mary Hutchinson, Pontiac and his father, Jack Robinson, Louisiana. 3 son's: Clinton (Tammy) Robinson, Harold (Sheri) Robinson and William (Kelly) Robinson all of Pocahontas, Arkansas, 3 daughters; Rachel Alverson, Melbourne, Arkansas, Crystal and Ashley Robinson, Arp, Texas. There are 13 Grandchildren, 2 sisters, Regenia (Wally) Rakoczy, and Donna (Jim) Frailey both of Pontiac, two step brothers, Lavon (Catherine) Callahan, and Chuck (Sharon) Callahan both of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. One niece and four nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by stepfather, Edgar Callahan and his grandmother, Minnie Byrd.
Mr. Robinson was educated in the Mammoth Springs, Arkansas schools. Dean was a retired custodian at the Cornell Grade school and was self employed in the drywall business.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Chenoa. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday June 29, 2006 also at the Memorial Home in Chenoa. The Rev. Wayne Hurst will officiate. Burial will take place in the Pike Twp. Cemetery, Rural Chenoa.
The family suggest memorials be given to the Dean Robinson Memorial Fund.
