Bloomington - Karen J. Kindig, 73, died at 5:00 pm July 11, 2016, at her home in Bloomington.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, is in charge of arrangements.
Karen was born August 22, 1942. She was the oldest of seven children. Her brothers and sisters are Mike, Dan, Tim and Joe Wissmiller, Peggy Bliss and Pamela Dehner.
She married Chuck Kindig in 1962. They had 2 beloved daughters; Tara (John) Griffin and Estelle (Paul) Brown.
Chuck died in 1976. Karen later married Rudy Pare in 1979. They divorced in 1982. She married Bo Cary in 1991. He died in 2009.
As per her wishes cremation has been accorded and she will be interred with her loving grandparents, Edward and Catherine Delaney Kruse at 11:00am, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois or Wish Bone Canine Rescue.
