Fairbury – Karen I. Scott, 72, of Fairbury, passed away at 9:13pm, December 10, 2019, at her residence.

Cremation has been accorded.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the VFW.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Karen was born December 16, 1946, in Torrance, CA the daughter of Frank and Novaleen Gilbert Scouler.

She married John Scott. He died in 2003.

Surviving are her children, Chris (Melissa) Williams of Chenoa, Justin (Landy) Williams of CA, and Reagan (JJ Schopp) Williams of Fairbury; grandson, Layton Gibson and nine other grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Becky) Scouler of CA.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Sweetman.

Karen worked in real estate for many years in CA. She also was an Executive Officer for the Livingston County Board of Realtors.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Pontiac.

Karen was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
