Obituary
Colfax – Karla Marie Blake, 35, of Colfax, passed away at 5:43pm, July 6, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 11, 2014, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Visitation will be held from 4-8:00pm, Thursday, July 10, 2014 also at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Karla Blake Memorial Fund.
Karla was born November 14, 1978 in Gibson City the daughter of Eugene and Patricia Brock Kirby.
Surviving are her mother, Pat of Colfax, two sons, Travis Blake of Clinton and Jonathan Blake of Saybrook; daughter, Victoria Blake of Saybrook; siblings, Robert (Mary Beth) Kirby of Colfax, Richard (Dawn) Kirby of Covelle, Michelle Kirby of Lexington, Rebecca (Ray) Folks of Bloomington, and James (Tiffany) Kirby of Colfax.
Karla was preceded in death by her father; brother, Rodney Kirby and great nephew Robbie Cramer.
Karla loved riding motorcycles and used this love to help in many fund raisers for Autism.
