Chenoa – Kathy JoAnn Adelmann. 65, of Chenoa passed away at 8:05am, Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her residence in Chenoa.
Cremation rites have been accorded and services will take place at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Kathy J. Adelmann.
Kathy was born October 11, 1958 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Donald and Mildred Rose (Mahoney) Brooks. She married Kevin Adelmann on October 24, 1998 in Lockport, IL. Her husband, Kevin survives in Chenoa.
Other Survivors include three sons, Frank (Beth) Koger of Biloxi, Mississippi; Christopher (Janelle) Pierson of North Port, FL; Joshua (Holly) Pierson of Yorkville, IL; one beloved step-daughter, Ashley (Chris) Madding of Wylie, TX; her adoptive father, Leonard Johnson of Muskogee, OK; one brother, Donald (Melody) Brooks Jr. of Michigan City, IN; one sister, Kelly (Larry) Gray of Muskogee, OK; 10 grandchildren, Griffin and Gemma Koger; Thadeus, Milo and Vivian Pierson; Emmett, Landon and Crew Pierson; Colton and Levi Madding; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her natural father, mother, Mildred Rose Johnson and one brother, Johnny Johnson.
Kathy enjoyed reading, coin and stamp collecting, going camping with her family. She had a love of horses stemming from her teens growing up on her father, Leonard Johnson's farm in Muskogee, OK; raising horses. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
