Forrest- Keith Schaffer, 65, of Forrest, passed away at 11:55am, March 2, 2022, at his residence.

Cremation has been accorded.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Keith was born December 14, 1956, in Blue Island, the son of William and Delores (Kadlup) Schaffer.

He married Velda Snow in 1995. She survives.

Also surviving are his daughters, Jessica Schaffer of El Paso, Sierra (Tobi) Birge of Fairbury, and son, Scott Schaffer of Pontiac; grandchildren, Dakota Shawback, Latney Schaffer, Toby and Kara Birge; brothers, Brian Schaffer of Forrest, Bruce Schaffer of Cooksville, Kevin and Terry Schaffer both of Fairbury; sisters, Shirley Lawrence and Colleen McKay both of Fairbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Shawn Schaffer and sister Sharon VanNote.

Keith enjoyed driving for Anchor Egg.
