Kenneth G Lehmann

Kenneth G. Lehmann, 73, Decatur and formerly of Strawn, died at 5:25 pm Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital, Springfield.

Ken was born November 9, 1952, in Fairbury, IL the son of George and Alice Ifft Lehmann. He married Mary Leeper on January 12, 1980, in Forrest, IL. She survives in Decatur.

Other survivors include one daughter, Amber (Eric) Gebben, Decatur, one granddaughter, Shelby (Tanner) Arjes, Peoria and two great grandchildren, Curren and Ember Arjes, two sisters, Karen (Richard) Stoller, Fairbury, Rhoda (Jeff) Gaines, Champaign, one brother, Art (Jana) Lehmann, Forrest and one brother-in-law, Barry Koehl, Forrest.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Brad Lehmann and one sister, Rosemary Koehl.

Ken was a lifetime farmer in the Strawn area, founding Lehmann Brothers Farms along with his brother Art. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He formerly served as the Fayette Township Supervisor. He was an active member of the Prairie Central FFA Alumni and a member of the J.A. Folwell American Legion Post #174 in Forrest.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00pm Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. A private burial will be in Strawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the J.A. Folwell American Legion Post #174, in Forrest, IL or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Ken was admired for his positive disposition and genuine kindness.
