Kenneth Carl McClellan, 80, Fairbury, died 1:30am Friday, February 2, 2007 at his residence, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury with the Rev. Tom Krieger officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Monday at the church.
Mr. McClellan was born March 26, 1926 at Weston, IL. The son of Carl and Gasena Jesse Bose McClellan. He married Carmen L. Blundy October 19, 1947 at Forrest, IL. She died February 28, 2006.
Surviving are 2 sons: Lyle (Marjie) McClellan, Plymouth, MA, Larry (Pam) McClellan, Normal, a daughter: Rev. Connie (Bob) Frase, Forrest, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 6 sisters and a daughter, Sharon Aberle.
Mr. McClellan had formerly been employed at the Honegger Feed Mill, Fairbury and later at Klitzing Welding and Koehl Brothers Inc., both at Fairbury.
After his retirement he became an avid woodworker and enjoyed fishing and camping.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury to where his family suggests memorials be given.
