Kenneth Eugene Stalter, 90, Clinton, died at 7:30 pm Monday, June 23, 2025 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Mr. Stalter was born September 18, 1934 in Chenoa, IL the son of Wilbert and Margaret Louise Brave Stalter.  He married Cleadeth C. Klein on March 9, 1958 in Chenoa, IL.  She preceded him in death on July 24, 1982.  He then married Doris Chapman on November 6, 1987.  She preceded him in death on October 12, 2015.

Survivors include his brother, Wesley (June) Stalter, Greensburg, IN, a special companion, Rita Scanlon, Bloomington, IL and two step daughters, Vickie (John) Roetker, Ottawa, IL and Sherry (Bob) Chapman, Clinton, IL, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded death by three brothers and one sister.

Mr. Stalter served in the United States Army in Germany (1955-1957).  He worked as an internal switch operator for GTE for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and vegetable gardening.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday, June 30, 2025 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, followed by at graveside service at Chenoa Twp. Cemetery.   Pastor Jeff Williams of the Chenoa Baptist Church will officiate.  The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of their choice.
