Kevin Dwayne McArthur, 46 of Pontiac died at 3:37 pm, Sunday, June 18, 2023 at his residence in Pontiac.

There will be a private family service followed by cremation and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.

Kevin was born June 11, 1977 in Buena Vista Georgia, the son of Bobbie (Mitchell) McArthur.  Kevin graduated from Bayshore High School.

Survivors include his children, Jason Durham, John and Matthew Bates, Ashton and Xane Mcarthur, Bailey (McArthur) Henkel all of Pontiac IL; Ethan and Cameron Frailey of Arkansas; Phoenix and Dallas of Streator IL. He had 5 grandchildren, Adeylen, Ellis, and Sebastion Bates of Pontiac IL; Liyah and Dayna Durham of Streator IL; his mother, Bobbie McArthur, grandmother Nira Asuman of Bradenton, FL; two sisters, Robin and Dana McArthur; three brothers, Brandon, Steven and Jason McArthur all of Bradenton, FL; 3 nieces and 6 nephews; Dani and Derek Hopkins, Cody and Sky Simpson, Austyn, Lana, and Jason Mcarthur. Dakota Wilson, Michael Jaymes McArthur all of Bradenton FL.

Kevin was very outgoing, and loved with all of his heart. He loved to fish, he liked going to the park with his children, he enjoyed watching football and baseball.
