Kim L. Nussbaum, 52, Bloomington was pronounced dead at 3:31 am Sunday, May 10, 2009 as a result of a single vehicle accident in Danvers Twp.
A private family service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Len Thebarge officiating. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
Miss Nussbaum was born March 6, 1957 in Normal, IL, the daughter of John "Jack" and Rita Wink Jenkins. She married Jan R. Nussbaum, April 4, 1981 in Bloomington, IL.
Surviving is her mother, Rita Jenkins, Towanda, IL; three sons, Drew (Billie Joe) Nussbaum and Troy Nussbaum, both of Normal; Cory J. Nussbaum, Bloomington; one daughter, Jeni Nussbaum, Chicago, IL; one granddaughter, Cameryn Nussbaum; three sisters, Jan (Warren) Schaffer, Lexington, IL, Kay (Greg) Shaw, Towanda, IL, Lyn Jenkins, Hudson, IL; one brother, Jon (Roma) Jenkins, Fort Dodge, IA.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Miss Nussbaum was a 1975 graduate of Normal Community High School and later graduated from Parkland Community College. She was a dental assistant at the McLean County Health Department, Bloomington.
Kim loved nothing more than spending time with her children and granddaughter. She also loved to golf and go on beach vacations.
