Obituary
Kyle R. Farris, 27, of Forrest, passed away at 1:04 pm, Monday, June 10, 2013 at his residence in Forrest.
His funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest with the Pastor Connie Frase officiating. Burial will be in Strawn Cemetery, Strawn.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 13, 2013, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Kyle was born October 27, 1985 in Fairbury, the son of Dennis and Lisa (Hanshew) Farris. His father, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather, Don Hanshew preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Kyle R. Farris.
Survivors include his mother, Lisa Farris, maternal grandmother, Viola Ruth Hanshew, one sister, Jaycie Farris, three brothers, Nathan Farris, Dylan Farris and Austin Stork all of Forrest; half-brother Lonnie Farris of Strawn; half-sister, Laurie Edelman of Minonk; Aunt Donita; nieces and nephews, Paislee Farris, Cory Farris, Bethany Reum, Tiffany Osborn and Brad Edelman, and many cousins.
Kyle was a special young man who enjoyed WWE wrestling, fishing, campfires, cars and trucks and NASCAR, following Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Jr. He loved spending time with family and friends and touched the lives of all he came in contact with.
