Kyle L. Sharp, 19, of Chenoa formerly of El Paso passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at his residence in Chenoa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Chenoa Baptist Church with Rev. Jan Proeber officiating. Interment will follow in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm, Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.
In lieu of flowers for the service memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Kyle Sharp.
Kyle was born October 21, 1992 in Pontiac; the son of Michael and Dawn (Golliday) Sharp. His parents survive him in El Paso.
Also surviving are two brothers, Corey Sharp of Normal; Michael Sharp of Peoria; one sister, Erin Sharp of Chillicothe; maternal grandparents, Emma and Roy Oliver of Chenoa; who he had a very special relationship with, paternal grandfather, Jack (Patricia) Sharp of West Peoria; paternal grandmother, Mary Reiter of Peoria Heights; special friend, Lauren Hutson, Gridley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by step-grandfather, Henry Reiter and Uncle Bill Miller.
Kyle had attended El Paso-Gridley Schools and was a 2011 graduate of Lexington High School where he was involved in the FFA, Baseball and Football programs. He was very involved in the "Impact Center Youth Group" in El Paso, volunteering and serving on many mission trips. Kyle enjoyed fishing with Grandpa Roy and working alongside his uncles. "Sharpie" was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
