Chenoa: Larry N. Jones, 70, of Chenoa, died at 10:58 am., Sunday, June 8, 2008 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. His funeral service will be 10:30 am Thursday June 12, 2008 also at the funeral home in Chenoa with Pastor Spencer Homan officiating the service. Burial will follow in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa, IL.

Larry was born July 9, 1937 in Bloomington, the son of Edwyn T. and Lula (Ferguson) Jones. He married Sharon Graham on March 18, 1960 in Danville, IL. She survives in Chenoa.

Also surviving are one daughter; Julie (Dave) Krause, Hudson, IL, one son: Jeff (June) Jones, Chatsworth, IL, two brothers; Roger (Paula) Jones, Centerville, OH, David Jones, Memphis, TN, one sister; Nancy (Ron) Klein, Morgantown, WV, one sister in-law; Linda Jones, Fairbury, IL, fourteen grandchildren; Amber, Patrick, Gabrielle, Taylor, Katelyn, Garrett, Blake, Jesse Sue, Wade, Wyatt, Gavin, Kalie, Madison and Brianna.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Kenneth Jones.

Larry was a 1955 graduate of Lexington H.S. and a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Fairbury. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a one of a kind grandpa and could always be counted on. We would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Jeong and his wonderful staff at the Community Cancer Center in Normal for helping us along this journey, and remember it will always be a "Larry Thing"
