Obituary
Cooksville – Larry F. Sutter, 78, of Cooksville, passed away at 8:50am, January 27, 2013 at Bickford House in Bloomington.
Funeral will be held at 12:00pm, Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Cooksville Union Church. Pastor Dan Jassman will be officiating.
Entombment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax and 11-11:45am on Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Cooksville Union Church or Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association.
Larry was born April 4, 1934 in Cooksville the son of Frank and Mina Blossom Sutter.
He married Norma Meiners on May 20, 1956 in Anchor. She died January 31, 2010.
Surviving are his daughter, Kelly (Mike) Brown of Bloomington; son, Matt (Jackie) Sutter of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren, Robbie and Stephanie Brown Tyler, Emily, Katelyn and Kaleb Sutter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Larry was a farmer in the Cooksville area, retiring in 2001. He then was a rural paper carrier from 2002-2011.
Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Cooksville Union Church and Cooksville Grain Company.
