Colfax – Laura M. Brown, 46, of Colfax, passed away at 4:36pm, September 20, 2021, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.

Her funeral will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Wendell Wardell will be officiating. Burial will be in Southside City Cemetery, Pontiac.

Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm, Friday, September 24, 2021, also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Laura was born August 8, 1975, in Lampasas, TX. She married Clarence "Bo" Brown III on October 3, 1992. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Jon (Meagan) Brown of TN, Desiree (Christopher) Elsen of TN, and Miranda (Nick) Purcell of Saybrook; grandchildren, Damien Elsen, Serenity Purcell and Baby Clyde (Baby Bean) Purcell; and brother, Dan (Tabby) Tovrea of Pontiac.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler and daughter, Shelby Brown.

Laura worked for Caseys General Store in Colfax for over 10 years.

Laura loved her husband, children and especially her grandchildren with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and her cats Shadow and Zoe.
