LaVonne D. Roberts, 76, of Fairbury, died at 8:57 am Monday, May 18, 2020 at her residence, Fairbury.

A private burial will be in Camp Cemetery, rural Odell with a private family service at a later date.  Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice, 211 Landmark Dr., Suite D3, Normal, IL 61761.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury has charge of arrangements.

LaVonne was born September 20, 1943 in Wenona, IL, a daughter of Russell and Dorothy (May) Harms.  They preceded her in death.

She married Richard A. Roberts on April 2, 1977 in Fairbury.  He preceded her in death on October 25, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Roy (Angela) Rodrick, Dwight, Laura (Shane) Souba, Peoria, Allen Roberts, Germantown Hills, Tad (Laura) Roberts, Gilbert, AZ, and Susan (Michael) Glowacki, Fairbury; 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two brothers, Larry (Dorothy) Harms and Ray (Dawn) Harms, both of Chenoa, two sisters, Karen (Mack) Hutchison, Pontiac and Diane Harms, Pekin.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Bill Harms.

LaVonne was a graduate of Wenona High School class of 1961.  She was employed at Pittsburgh Tube for 5 years and Sav-Mor Pharmacy for 8 years.  She was a beloved mother and grandmother and devoted her time to them.  Her favorite past times were bingo and shopping and spending time with her friends.
