Obituary
Colfax – Leona Maxine Burk, 93, of Baudette, MN formerly of Colfax passed away on August 23, 2010 in Baudette, MN.
Funeral will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax with visitation one hour prior.
Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Leona was born May 26, 1917 in Lawndale Twp. the daughter of Martin Luther and Netta Fern Johnson Wagoner.
She married Leslie Albert Burk on June 14, 1946 in Amarillo, TX. He died June 4, 1997.
Surviving are one son Toby (Linda) Burk of Baudette, MN; two step-daughters, Geraldine Heintz of Shorewood, IL and Ann Marie Schultz of Glastonbury, CT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harry and Carl Wagoner, one sister, Irene Carter, and two grandchildren.
Leona was a member of Colfax Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary in Colfax where she was past president, Hustler Club in Colfax and VFW Auxiliary Post #723, Baudette, MN.
Memorials may be made to Colfax Christian Church or American Legion Auxiliary, Colfax.
