Pontiac – Linda Lou Babbs Angus, 71, of Pontiac, passed away at 7:10am, July 25, 2016 at Pontiac Healthcare and Rehab.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, July 31, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest. Pastor Corrine Blissard will be officiating.
Friends may greet the family from 2-3:00pm, on Sunday at the church.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Memorials may be made to the family or Livingston County Humane Society.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Linda was born December 11, 1944 in Bloomington the daughter of Leslie and Alda Hartman Babbs.
Surviving are her daughter, Carrie (Clint Garrett) Eby of Bloomington; son, Bradley Vanderm of IN; grandchildren, Travis Baysinger, James, Joshua, and Sandra Lawhorn; great-grandchildren, Jenniffer and Jenna Lawhorn; sisters, Gloria Babbs of AZ, Donna (Don Colvin) Stehle of Chatsworth, and Kathy (Randy) Rhoads of Fairbury; brother, Gary (Kim) Babbs of Pontiac; her best friends, Raul Rios and toni Brucker; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Russell Babbs, and grandson, Scotty Lee Sanches.
Linda worked for many years for Fosdicks Poultry in Fairbury.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Forrest and attended Kulture Church in Pontiac.
