Chenoa – Linda L. Dooley, 76, of Chenoa, passed away at 11:45pm, February 10, 2024, at Goldwater Care, Pontiac.

Cremation has been accorded.

Friends may greet the family from 10-12:00pm, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

Burial will be at a later date in Clinton, IA.

Linda was born November 22, 1947, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of John F. and Ruth (St. Clair) White. She married James Dooley on March 6, 1970. He survives.

Also surviving are her sons, Troy Edens and Tom (Tina) Dooley both of Pontiac; grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Nicole, Stephanie, Morgan and Tory Edens, and Landon Dooley; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Peterson of Punta Gorda, FL, William (Maryann) White and Jeffrey (Vicki) White both of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Dooley; and sister, Barbara White.

Linda graduate from Clinton High School in 1966. She retired from Evenglow in Pontiac. She was a member of the Chenoa VFW Auxiliary.

Linda enjoyed watching all her favorite TV shows in her retirement. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Linda was a quiet and gentle soul; never causing anyone trouble.
