Linda Lou Larsen, 79, Forrest, went to her heavenly home at 6:03 am Thursday, December 3, 2020 at her residence, Forrest.
Linda was born April 27, 1941 in Fairbury, IL the daughter of Joseph and Maggie Katheryne Hurt Glover. She married Ernest Boyd Sapp on January 26, 1963 in St. Charles, IL. He died on May 10, 2005. She then married Albert K. Larsen. He survives in Forrest.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mary Renée James, Fairbury, one son, Allen Dean Sapp, Fairbury, 5 step children, Karl (Joann) Larsen, John Larsen, Charles (Sue) Larsen, Jeanette Larsen, Penny (John) Miller, 8 grandchildren, Daniel, David and Nathaniel Sapp, Nicole Craig, Sierra and Dakota Mowery, Autumn Anderson and Amber McGovern, 9 step grandchildren, Erica and Emily Larsen, Jessica and Kelsey Larsen, Shelly Paternoster, Lisa Musser, Mark Gibson, Emmons and Elias Ratliff, 5 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and one niece Billi Jo Trumble, and one brother, Lewis Richard "Dickie" Glover, Fairbury.
She is preceded in death by one son, Steven Roger Sapp and one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Mowery and one grandchild.
Linda enjoyed writing and photography. She was a feature story writer for The Pantagraph and provided her own photos. She used computer software to compose and produce pamphlets for children's ministry and church bulletins. She put her trust in Jesus Christ as her hope of heaven. She loved her husband, her children and family, and her church family, and above all God. She welcomed several people into her family as sons and daughters when they needed a mom.
She was a born-again Christian. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but someday, we who believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead, will join her, never to be parted again.
Linda was a member of Faith Fellowship Ministries, Fairbury where her memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, December 12, 2020. Memorials may be directed to Faith Fellowship Ministries, Fairbury. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements.
