Pontiac – Linda J. Marrs, 65, of Pontiac, passed away at 12:34pm, December 27, 2019, at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Fr. Carl LoPresti will be officiating.

Friends may greet the family from 1-3:00pm, Sunday, January 5, 2020, also at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.

Linda was born June 16, 1954, in Pontiac, the daughter of William and Donna Mae Platt Brackman. She married Larry Marrs on May 12, 1984. He survives.

Also surviving are her brothers, Ron (Carol) Brackman of Pontiac and Larry (Rhonda) Brackman of Bloomington; and nieces and nephews, Jodi (Tom) Miller of Chenoa, Jesse Brackman, Shawn (Jenni) Brackman, and Rodney Hummel all of Pontiac.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Linda was a Certified Nurse Assistant caring for many people in their homes.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Fairbury.

Linda loved her dogs, camping and spending time with her family.
