Linda Marie Norman 62, of Chenoa passed away at 11:25am, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at her residence in Chenoa with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Corinne Blissard officiating. Burial will follow in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Monday, November 21, 2011 also at the memorial home in Chenoa.
Linda was born August 8, 1949 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Robert and Mildred Anna-Marie (Frankenstien) Glaser. She married Paul Norman on November 22, 1972 in Bloomington, IL. He survives in Chenoa.
Other survivors include one son, Gary Norman, Palm Coast, FL; two daughters, Julie (Steve) Hutchins, Forrest; Lisa (Mike Martorana) Mayr, Chenoa; one sister, Margaret (Larry) Evers, Paducah, KY; two brothers, Ted (Janet) Glaser, Florida; Terry Glaser, Utica, IL; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Dana Rae Norman, one sister, Connie Glaser and brother in-law, Dan Norman.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Community Cancer Center, Normal, St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Forrest or Chenoa Fire Department.
Linda graduated from McLean-Waynesville HS. She was employed by State Farm Insurance as a senior accounting book-keeper for 22 years. She was a charter member in Atlanta, GA before moving back to corporate office in Bloomington in 1998. The family would like to extend a special thank you to OSF Hospice and Dr. Jyotir Jani and his staff for all they have done for them.
