Lois Jeannette Saffer, 46, Fairbury died at 1:10 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her residence in Fairbury.
Graveside services will be at 10:15 am Monday, December 22, 2008 at Avoca Twp. Cemetery, rural Fairbury with Fr. Carl LoPresti officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 am Monday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Saffer was born December 31, 1961 in Kankakee, the daughter of John and Mable Crawford Saffer.
Surviving are a daughter, Jillian Mason, Fairbury; one son James Mason; her mother, Mable Saffer, Kankakee; eleven brothers and sisters, Gary Saffer, Colorado, Yvonne Saffer, Colorado, David Saffer, Oklahoma, Ronald Saffer, Texas, Norman Saffer, Illinois, Judy Surprenant, Illinois, Diane Saffer, Colorado, Jeff Saffer, Colorado, Patrick Saffer, Colorado, Michelle Saffer, Colorado, Karen Ravens, Illinois and two grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father and two sisters.
