Lori was born December 5, 1963 in Fairbury the daughter of Kenneth and Linda (Weber) Fehr. She married Ryan Steidinger on October 29, 1989 in Fairbury. Her husband Ryan survives in Chenoa. Her father preceded her in death on February 2, 2024.
Also surviving are her children, Shelbi (Jonny) Wellwood of Chenoa; Collin (Katie) Steidinger of Spring Hill, FL; and Taylor Steidinger of Woodland Park, CO; eight grandchildren, Addison, Emma, Owen and Wyatt Wellwood, Asher, Briggs, Finley and Dax Steidinger her mother, Linda Fehr of Bloomington; one brother, Jeff (Caralee) Fehr of Lexington, OH; and one sister, Jacki (Aaron) Masters of Bloomington.
Lori and Ryan created a beautiful and blessed life together. Raising their children and grandchildren to love the Lord was her life's mission. She was passionate about traveling and seeing as much of God's creation as she could.
This feisty woman started out working at State Farm, Bloomington; and eventually had the opportunity to homeschool her children. She owned and operated Fehr Real Estate, Fairbury for 10 years alongside her husband Ryan. Their love for Jesus took them to Colorado for 3 years where she graduated from Bible College. The couple then moved to Florida, where they lived, semi-retired and poured themselves tirelessly into volunteer work.
Her greatest joys in life were holding her husband's hand and watching her grandchildren play. Above all else, she loved the Lord our God with all her heart. She is free and dancing with her Father on Streets of Gold.
