Obituary
Lorraine Stephens, 88, of Colfax, died January 28, 2008 at 7:05AM at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Colfax.
Visitation for Lorraine will be today, Tuesday, January 29, 2008 from 5-7:00PM at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11:00AM also at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Diane Yentes will be officiating.
Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Lorraine was born October 13, 1919 in Flanagan the daughter of Harry and Eyelene Eisele Askew. They preceded her in death.
She married Dwight S. Stephens on January 12, 1941 in Normal. He died January 7, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (Kim) Stephens of Plainfield and Lyle (Jan) Stephens of Moline; four grandchildren, Sarah Campagna, David, Daniel and Adam Stephens; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Brett Campagna; two sisters, Myrna (Ed) Waters of San Diego, CA and Della Weinhuff of Palos Verdes, CA.
She was preceded in death by one son Lloyd and one sister Zella Askew.
Lorraine farmed with her husband in the Colfax area. She is a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Parkinson's disease Research.
